This Privacy Policy explains how BLUE FINESSE, obrt za trgovinu, vl. Toni Didak (“BLUE FINESSE”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data in connection with this website, bluefinesse.com.

This website is a business-to-business (B2B) information and inquiry site. It does not offer a consumer checkout, account system or online store.

This policy does not cover passport.bluefinesse.com, the separate Fish Passport service linked from this site, which is operated independently and may have its own privacy practices.

Information you provide directly

If you use the contact/inquiry form on this website, we collect the information you enter. Depending on what you fill in, this may include: your name, company name, email address, phone number, country, type of business, product of interest, approximate quantity, preferred delivery date, and the message you write to us. Only name, company, email, country, business type and message are required; the remaining fields are optional.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, our server infrastructure and the third-party map service described below may process limited technical data generated automatically by your browser, such as IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or resource requested, and browser/user-agent information. This is standard information involved in serving any website and is not linked to your name unless you separately identify yourself, for example by submitting the contact form. Website usage information collected through Vercel Web Analytics is described in Section 10.

Contact and inquiry data

We use the information submitted through the contact form to respond to your inquiry, prepare or discuss a potential offer, and communicate with you about a potential or existing business relationship with BLUE FINESSE.

• Where you contact us on your own behalf as a prospective business partner, this processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Where you contact us as an employee or representative of a company or organisation, we process your business contact details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to commercial inquiries and maintaining professional B2B relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technical/log data

Technical data and website usage information are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating, securing, troubleshooting and understanding the performance and use of this website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Inquiries submitted through the contact form are sent to our business mailbox by email, using the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc.), which processes the information you enter on our behalf for this purpose only. We do not store inquiries in a database on this website.

This website is hosted using Vercel infrastructure (Vercel Inc.). When you visit the site, Vercel processes technical request and server data on our behalf, such as your IP address, timestamps, requested resources and similar technical data (see Section 3), as necessary to deliver pages to your browser and to keep the website secure and available.

The Adriatic map on this website is built with Leaflet and displays map tiles supplied directly by OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap’s tile servers to download the map imagery. This means OpenStreetMap (and any infrastructure providers it uses) may receive your IP address and standard request data for those tile requests, independently of our own server.

We do not control this processing and it is not covered by this policy. Please refer to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s own privacy policy for details. We use the map on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functional, interactive way to show our general fishing area (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The typefaces used on this website are downloaded once at build time and served from our own domain. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font provider when you visit this site.

This website does not set cookies and does not use browser local storage or session storage. Vercel Web Analytics, described in Section 10, does not use cookies or browser storage on your device. As a result, no cookie consent banner is displayed, because none is currently required. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent first, where legally required.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., to understand website usage and performance. It may process technical and usage information such as page views, the pages visited, device and browser information, referrer information and approximate geographic information (for example country) where provided by the service. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and this information is not used for marketing or profiling purposes or to identify you personally.

This website links to our Instagram profile and to WhatsApp. These are ordinary outbound hyperlinks — no Instagram content, “Follow” button or other social-media widget is embedded on this site. No data is shared with Instagram, Meta or WhatsApp merely by visiting this website; this only happens if you actively click through, at which point you leave our website and that platform’s own privacy policy applies.

We keep inquiry and contact data for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and, where a business relationship develops, for the duration of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards to address any follow-up questions. If no business relationship develops, we do not keep inquiry data for longer than reasonably necessary for that purpose.

Records connected to an actual order or business transaction may need to be kept for longer, where required by applicable Croatian tax and accounting law.

Technical/log data described in Section 3 is kept only for a limited period necessary for security and operational purposes, consistent with Vercel’s standard practices as our hosting provider (see Section 6).

As explained in Section 7, loading the interactive map causes your browser to connect directly to OpenStreetMap’s infrastructure; we do not control where that processing takes place.

Our hosting and analytics provider, Vercel (see Sections 6 and 10), and our email delivery provider, Resend (see Section 5), operate infrastructure that may process technical request data or the information you submit outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. If you would like information about the safeguards that apply to such processing, please contact us using the details in this policy.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

• request access to the personal data we hold about you;
• request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure of your data;
• request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
